SonicWall VPN Two Factor Authentication Setup

SonicWall NetExtender VPN

 

Follow the instructions below to setup two factor authentication.

You Must Use Microsoft Authenticator App and not google.

 

 

Step 1  Establish a connection


 

  • Enter your PC username and password


 

  • “This Window should appear”

 

 

 

Step 2  Download the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone.

  1. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device. (Setup the app for “Work” you may need to Click “skip”)
  2. Select Add account from the Customize and control icon in the upper right as shown..

  3. In the Add account page, choose “Work or school account”.
  4. Allow the app access to the camera
  5. Scan the IRQ code on the web page (Not the one in this email)
  6. Then enter the code from the app
  7. You can now close the website and open the SonicWALL VPN software.

 

 

Step 3  Open SonicWall NetExtender software from your desktop and Establish the VPN connection

  • If you do not have NetExtender installed, please contact the IT Department

    • Settings
      • remote.a-zbus.com
      • a-zbus.local  (all lowercase)

  • Step 4
  • Establish a VPN connection and enter the code from the Microsoft app on your phone.
