Firefox, how to disable the Password Manager


For Firefox users on Windows:

  1. Click the Menu button in the top right of your browser and click Settings
  2. Click Privacy and Security on the left
  3. Scroll down to the Logins and Passwords section
  4. Uncheck Ask to save logins and passwords for websites

For Firefox users on Mac:

  1. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and select Preferences.
  2. Click Privacy and Security on the left
  3. Scroll down to the Logins and Passwords section.
  4. Uncheck Ask to save logins and passwords for websites.

For Firefox users on iOS:

  1. Tap Menu. 
  2. Tap Passwords - you may have to use Touch ID or enter a password
  3. Turn off Save Logins. 

For Firefox users on Android:

  1. Tap the three dots Menu and tap Settings
  2. Tap Logins and passwords, then Save Logins and passwords. Select Never save
  3. Tap the back arrow twice, then choose Autofill from the selections. Unselect Save and autofill addresses and Save and autofill cards
